Are your managers able to use the employee manual consistently and fairly with all employees and do your managers understand why they should?
Is cautionary language included relevant to or stating:
• Employment is at will
• Management has the right to change, modify, add or delete any policies
• The employee manual is not a contract
Are the following policies included in your manual?
• Description of internal complaint process
• Explanation of all benefits
• Rules of Conduct / Ethics
• Leaves of absence including Family and Medical Leave including Domestic Violence Leave
• Employee Classifications and performance and pay practices
